A few of my recent clients

The Exec –   had a huge project and a deadline looming – and needed me to oversee painters, roofers, get photos framed, set up a household checking account and get a Visa at the Russian Consulate.

In addition, I played telephone tag with numerous companies regarding disputes and questions.

To make her life easier and healthier, I prepped a number of her favorite meals, left them in the refrigerator and did all the food shopping.

Each Monday, I took the shopping list to Trader Joe’s, Bryan’s, and Costco and filled her pantry and refrigerator.

The Man from HP  – was new to San Francisco and needed calorie specific meals cooked and delivered to his home. He also needed 12 quirky items sold on Craigslist. We reviewed the items and priced the inventory.  I photographed the items, put them on Craigslist and was the conduit for the sales. Commission on each item.

Art the Collector -  hired me to inventory his entire art collection, photograph, and measure and build a binder with photos and specifics regarding each piece of art. Trips to an art curator in Oakland as well as an outstanding framer in Berkeley were part of the assignments.

Headhunter in Marin – needed closets cleaned out, organized, sorted and items delivered to Goodwill.

Five closets later and ten large bags were donated to Goodwill …plus a heap of clothes to go to alterations and the cleaners ….as well as “no more wire hangers” and a trip to the Container Store put the happy client in good stead.

Mother of Twins -  needs to stay close to the home front, so I was hired to fill the refrigerator and healthy foods, organized the kitchen, the pantry and closets, she was delighted to find her home better organized and not have to worry about meal planning.

Not a Shred of Evidence…

Yesterday a client hired me to deliver reams of  out dated documents, ancient tax returns and misc. papers  to Level 6 Shredding in San Francisco. This  small and impeccable company weighed and shredded all the docs that required my ‘witness’ and were to shred all other papers, thereafter.   Matt and Robert make house calls -and  will show up at your curb ( at your home or office) and shred documents, too.

A great service -  both very professional and cordial.

Good Will? Out -of -the -Closet is a dynamic, well organized, company – located at California and Polk Streets – light years ahead of Goodwill- who accepts donations for resale. Excellent drive in and drop off donations service. Several clients have hired me take multiple bags for donations to Out- of -the- Closet.

Good Will Hunting – Looking for someone to run to Target, Costco and Bev Mo?  Last week I made the rounds for one family and delivered groceries, paper goods, and beverages. Happy family.

A quick trip to Target, Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Costc0 – and a half dozen clear plastic bins can work wonders in your home. Voila!

Senior Living~

Helene and Randy Live in NYC – her parents live in San Francisco

Recently,  I was hired to research, tour/inspect  four San Francisco Independent Living facilities and report back on my findings.   My client lives in New York  and is “planning ahead” for her elderly parents.

Touring the Properties

I arranged for Site inspections at the Sequoias, the San Francisco Towers, the Carlisle and Coventry Gardens. I took notes and took pictures.  I gathered all necessary brochures, floor plans, documents and handouts. I spoke to  contacts and friends who shared their candid comments and assessments.

Reporting  Back

I was able to compile a very thorough packet of information with commentary, analysis and brochures to FEDEX to the client. We later spoke and reviewed all  by phone.

Another Senior Citizen Client –

…Had to downsized  from a 3 bedroom home to a lovely carriage house. She needed help sorting through decades of papers, books, and records.

She also needed to advise all of her suppliers of her new address, renew licenses, and have multiple documents organized and filed.

Organizing shelves, closets, storage, as well as purging, donating and delivering items were all aspects of the job.

We got the job done – with speed, humor and success!
